Chain your Bible!

Chain your Bible with God's Plan of Salvation, so that when you are asked, "What shall I do to inherit Eternal Life", you will be ready to lead others to Christ!

Take this booklet and a Blue and Red Ink Pen and get yourself a set of Coloured pencils (i.e. Red, Blue, Yellow, Green) for highlighting Biblical themes.

Start by writing the first verse reference of God's Plan of Salvation (Romans 3:10-12) on the inside of your Bible's cover. If your inside cover is black, turn the page and write the verse reference on the next blank white page.

Then turn to Romans 3:10-12 in your bible and mark the beginning and the end of the verses with a line (with your Blue pen) and connect the two lines with your pen along the outside of the verse. See illustration. Then print the reference in Red to the next verse in God's Plan of Salvation chain. In this case it is Romans 3:23.

Then do the same to this verse and so on, and so on until you are finished all the verses of God's Plan of Salvation in your bible.

Now whenever you need to explain the Plan of Salvation to a friend (or enemy) all you have to remember is the first verse, and if you forget that, look on the inside of your bible cover.

It is always best to let your friend read the bible himself, so he or she can never say that it was just something you told him. This way you can always remind him or her that they read it themselves, it wasn't some concocted story that you made up.

Do NOT highlight the verses. You will be highlighting them later, along the lines of Biblical themes. For example

Yellow = Holy Spirit;

Green = Second Coming;

Red = Salvation;

Blue = Heavenly Promises;

Orange = Prayer;

Purple = Christian Duties, Work & Qualities;

Brown = Sins and consequences of.

As you read your Bible start highlighting (lightly shading) interesting verses according to the themes and colours above.

STUDYING THE BIBLE
There is an old truth going around; "If all else fails, Read the manual!"

Mankind's Manual is the Holy Bible, a collection of Books, written by authors who were inspired by God to set down the things that God showed them.

The Bible is also a collection of historical books, which sets down in detail the trials and tribulations of God's people as they moved through time, either in God's will or out of it, and the ramification thereof.

The Scriptures grew from the first five books of Moses to include all thirty-nine books of the Old Testament and, then, the addition of the twenty-seven books of the New Testament. The Bible is a complete library composed of sixty-six books written by forty-four different authors. The authors came from different backgrounds including kings of Israel, warriors, shepherds, poets, a physician and fisherman. However, the Bible is the most unified book in the world, containing a progressive revelation of the message of God.

The Scriptures were written in three languages, Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek over a period of thirty-five centuries.

There is no other book in history which has suffered more opposition, hatred, persecution, and outright burning.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Question whatever ANYONE tells you, search the scriptures to make sure that it is the truth. Ask the Holy Spirit for guidance, knowledge and wisdom. Most of all Believe what it says, and watch the power, signs, wonders and miracles become real in your life.
